Our research paper, “Security Analysis of a Decentralized, Revocable and Verifiable Attribute-Based Encryption Scheme”, has been accepted for presentation at the 19th International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES). In previous research, we identified security flaws in one Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) approach. Our latest study continues this analysis, revealing an attack vector in another ABE scheme that allows unauthorized decryption. We highlight the crucial need for thorough security evaluations of new schemes and propose a solution to fix this vulnerability.
